THE IMPORTANCE OF DA'WAH

Assalamua'laikum dear readers, da'wah is an Arabic word which has the literal meaning of "issuing a summons," or "making an invitation."  This term is often used to describe how Muslims teach others about the beliefs and practices of their Islamic faith.

Da'wah is very important in our life as a caliph. Da'wah came in many ways and we can do it at any time. We tend to think that da'wah is spread in a religious talk, however, advising our friends, families and other people are also considered as da'wah.

It is a fact that almost all people makes mistakes, the only difference is just some people may repent and determine to avoid repeating the same mistakes but they are also a sum of people, they continue to keep on doing them without any sense of guilty.

Usually what i did to my friends and families, are always give a piece of advice whenever they are committing something which is wrong according to Sharia law. I happen to see many time my friends try to play truant and skipping the class. When this happen, I would talk to them nicely and if they refused to listen to me, I would tell directly to my lecturers in order to restrain themselves by keep doing mistakes which are bad for them and for their future sake.

Hence, I also take part in rotating with my friends during break in the class to give some religious talk. The talk may consist of reminders about aurah and sometimes I remind them to take care of their salah, prayers, reciting Quran and also some sunnah in order my friends to be always in the right track.

To sum up, we all know that da'wah may not only be done whenever only in front of a big crowd but also da'wah is also can be done during our day routine. When we give da'wah, it is also considered as a care to our families and friends.
